Event Details

This webinar will be presented by Charlene Russell of GroundTruth in KwaZulu-Natal. Charlene has been kicking around wetlands for many years, though usually she can be found chasing frogs. She holds an MSc looking at the effects of land use on the species composition of frogs in Zululand, KZN; and is a qualified teacher, she previously worked for WESSA as part of the EcoSchools programme as the provincial project manager for KZN. This experience has positioned her well to head up the Education and Training for GroundTruth Wetlands. Charlene has spent many years working with citizen science tools and is excited to share the recent updates made to the miniWET-Health tool, that she has been working on with Dr Donovan Kotze, as part of a study through the WRC.
