As of 18 January 2023, 10 out of the 20 priority legislative measures of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. mentioned in his first State of the Nation Address have been passed by the House of Representatives and transmitted to the Senate. It is said that these reforms are essential in the implementation of the administration's plans and programs for the country, particularly the 8-point socioeconomic agenda.

The Policy and Advocacy Committee would like to invite you to our first committee meeting entitled "19th Congress Priority Legislative Agenda" shall aim to understand more about these priority bills and to learn how the private sector can benefit / align according to these policy objectives in the 19th Congress.

This committee meeting shall also be launching GPCCI's Policy and Advocacy Committee and will be introducing its structure, platforms, and further activities.
