BSP Guidelines on the Implementation of the Environment & Social Risk Management (ESRM) System

COURSE DESCRIPTION:

The course will provide guidance in understanding the BSP's expectations on the ESRMS and discuss the relevant issuances and developments to support the banks' transition plan and overall sustainable finance strategy. It will cover the transmission of E&S risks to financial risks; role of the Board and Senior Management; and integration of E&S risks in the banks' credit and operational risk management. Likewise, the course aims to engage the participants on the initial steps or practical approaches in implementing the ESRMS, as well as areas where support is needed.
