The Role of Monster Studies in Modern Leadership

Join Tricia Friedman for a dialogue about using Monster Studies as a framework for engaging with your role as a leader. This conversation will explore how the figure of the monsterโ€”symbol of otherness, disruption, and transformationโ€”help navigate challenges of change. Drawing from Monster Theory (Cohen, 1996) and remix studies (de Bruin-Molรฉ, 2021), this session will provide ways to bring a creative conversation back to your leadership team.

Expect provocative questions, a few monstrous metaphors, and a challenge to embrace a new way to examine your practice and vision.
