Ts. Syahrir Nizam Jalis is an experienced Technologist with a demonstrated history of working in the telecommunications industry. Skilled in SDN/NFV, SDWAN, Big Data Analytics, Security, and new emerging digital business. Currently, Syahrir is the CEO of ACASIA Communications Sdn Bhd. Prior to assuming this role, he served as the company's CCO in the year 2020/21. He has a wealth of experience as Syahrir started off his early career at Telekom Malaysia as a Telecommunication Engineer. He held multiple portfolios over the years from Sales, Solution, Customer Service and Product under TM ONE, the enterprise’s arm of Telekom Malaysia. Syahrir obtained his Bachelor of Engineering (BEng), Electronics Engineering from Multimedia University in 2002. In the year 2005, he earned his Master of Science (MSc), in Mobile Communication System from the University of Surrey, in 2016, he was Certified Data Scientist from John Hopkins University and in 2019, he graduated from Cranfield School of Management with a certificate in Leadership Training, Organizational Leadership. He is also a certified Cisco, Juniper and Riverbed engineer. Ts. Syahrir has been invited as a Guest Speaker in multiple engineering forums in Malaysia such as Humanizing Innovation Forum, MMU 2021, IEEE CommSoc Forum 2021 and IES2022, UMK
