AGM - 2024

Dear Members,

The President of AustCham Lao would like to notify members of the upcoming 2024 Annual General Meeting scheduled for Friday, 13th December 2024. Therefore we call for nominations for the 2025-26 Board Directors.

Any full member of the Chamber up to date in their membership fees may stand or be nominated for election to the Board. Should there be more than ten members nominated for the role of ordinary director, than a ballot shall be conducted.

If a ballot is required, nominations for the Board will be announced ahead of the AGM and voting and proxy forms will be made available so that members have the opportunity to exercise their right to vote.

Serving on the Chamber's board of directors requires both commitment and energy to provide guidance, support and help the executive office foster the continued growth and development of the Chamber as a professional body representing the interests of members in the Lao PDR. It's a rewarding and fulfilling opportunity and a great way to become more engaged and connect with the business community. Board members are expected to attend all regular meetings of the board of directors and contribute their time and expertise to the various subcommittees of the board.

We encourage members to consider standing for the next Board of the Austcham Lao.

Please complete the attached nomination form​ and return it to David Ormsby, our Executive Director at executivedirector@austchamlao.org by Tuesday, 3rd of December 2024.

After the formalities of the AGM are concluded, AustCham will host a Christmas Party with our member ALS Geochemistry.

Non-members may attend the Christmas Party, however non-members are not entitled to participate in the AGM. There are a limited amount of non-member tickets available and prior registration is required.
