Experience in divorce mediation, parenting coordination, case management, conflict resolution and community conflict resolution. Practising Advocate in South Africa since 1997, and practising Advocate in Lesotho since 2016. Obtained an LLB degree at Unisa and a Masters degree in Philosophy at the UFS. Completed the Advanced Labour Law Programme at Unisa. Part-time CCMA Commissioner 2002-2003. An Arbitration Foundation of South Africa panelist. Trained as Community Mediator by the Independent Mediation Service of South Africa (IMSSA). Volunteer for the Peace Committee in the Free State and assisted with the establishment of Community Policing Forums in the Eastern Cape Province during the 1990's. South African Revenue Service Tax Board Chairman. Deals with general civil litigation, including insurance law, financial institutions and family law in both South Africa and Lesotho. Have dealt with sexual harassment complaints at local government level and a multi-national institution. Chaired various disciplinary inquiries and appeal hearings from small businesses to large mining corporations. Appeared in most Courts, including Supreme Court of Appeal and Constitutional Court, Labour Court. Appearances in various reported court cases. I serve on the Mediation Committee of the Legal Practice Council of the Free State and serve on the Executive Committee of Social Justice Association of Mediators tasked with Discipline and Compliance.
