The Australian Chamber of Commerce in Cambodia (AusCham) is an independent membership body that represents and promotes the interests of Australian businesses and business-people operating in Cambodia. Membership of Auscham is open to Australian citizens as individuals working in Australian businesses or on Australian projects in Cambodia, or with organisations that have a link to Australia. Our broad-ranging membership body encompasses a cross-section of companies and industries, ranging from sole proprietorships to some of Australia's largest international corporations.

Auscham Cambodia is delighted to announce, 'An Evening of Penfolds' on Saturday, 12th of October,

The Pavilion, on the 39th floor of the Rosewood Hotel, Phnom Penh.

This celebration event will include a range of Penfolds wines: with a guided tasting and tutored masterclass of Penfolds luxury and iconic wines led by Penfolds' Ambassador Sam Stephens, and includes the prestigiousPenfolds Grange. Followed by a 4-course Australian flavours dinner, complimented by Penfolds wines.

Penfolds Winery is Australia's most famous wine brand legendary in world wine circles and the producer of Australia's greatest wine, the coveted Penfolds Grange. This year Penfolds Winery celebrates its 175th Anniversary.

Penfolds Grange is an Australian icon - a heritage-listed wine protected by the National Trust of South Australia - which captures both a sense of place and the essence of Australian agricultural ingenuity and innovation.

This event offers guests the opportunity to sample the very best of Australian wines.

Sam Stephens

Penfolds

Originally from Adelaide, Sam has over 18 years’ experience in the wine trade. He has held a wide variety of roles across the industry in both Australia and Europe. He has a unique combination of knowledge, enthusiasm, understanding and passion for the wines of Penfolds and the history of the brand.

Throughout his career he has held diverse professional roles drawing on his commercial skills specialising in education and training, tastings and master classes, fine wine launch events and sales programs. Sam holds his WSET Diploma and has recently completed the first stage in his Masters of Wine studies.

A skilled wine educator and communicator, Sam is a qualified WSET tutor and has conducted a huge number of successful classes and courses for the trade and consumers across the globe. Sam also has a keen interest in the world of oenology, having gained vintage experience in McLaren Vale, working with both viticulturists and winemakers.

Being Adelaide born and bred Sam has Penfolds running through his veins and his passion for the brand and wines is infectious. His understanding of our history, wines and philosophy, together with the relationships he has forged with the winemaking team, makes Sam a highly respected advocate, and an articulate and well informed member of the global Penfolds family.
