Event Details

There is value in waste. Biogas production is the key to turn biodegradable waste into various forms of energy, potentially reducing harmful greenhouse gases emitted from burning fossil fuels. To support current waste-to-energy efforts in the Philippines, GPCCI and the German biogas tank producer Lipp GmbH invite you to join a comprehensive training on Biogas Basics, with focus on biogas biology, technology, and biogas plant safety.

This 6-part, free-of-charge online training will be conducted by trainers from the German Biogas Association and is aimed at anyone interested in biogas as a renewable energy source and its possible adaption in the Philippines.

This training is part of an ongoing develoPPP.de project that is co-financed by the German Investment Corporation (DEG) from public funds of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development. The program is implemented in partnership with Lipp GmbH and the German Biogas Association.
