Bashier is a founding partner of Nexia SAB&T which was established in1994, after completing his training contract with a medium-sized firm in Johannesburg. Over the years, he has been instrumental in determining the strategic direction and growth of the firm – culminating in the creation of one of the largest independent empowerment firms in South Africa.

Bashier was influential in the firm becoming a member of Nexia International, one of the leading Global accounting and business networks in the world.

Currently serving as a director on the International Board of Nexia, Bashier is also the Chairman of the EMEA Board of Nexia.
