    Marla D. Corson is a results-driven operations executive with over 20 years of experience in leading and optimizing operations for diverse organizations. With a proven track record of driving safety improvements and risk reduction through continuous process improvement and optimization initiatives, Marla has consistently demonstrated her ability to deliver tangible results. Her career spans leadership roles in prominent companies, reflecting her expertise in environmental health and safety, corporate governance, and operational excellence.

    Marla currently serves as an Advisor to Voxel, an Artificial Intelligence (AI) organization that utilizes security camera data to provide real-time visibility and profound insights for worker safety and industrial operations optimization. Her strategic contributions include facilitating new client acquisition.


    Marla served as the Workplace Health and Safety Leader responsible for the well-being of 850,000 associates across 286+ sites in North America. Her accomplishments include pioneering diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives, leading Amazon's first Women in Environmental Health & Safety Employee Resource Group (ERG), and creating a groundbreaking research team using data science and machine learning for safety improvements. Marla was distinguished as one of 35 executive-level leaders globally chosen to participate in the Dawson 549 Program, a testament to exceptional leadership skills.

    As the Director of Environmental Health & Safety at Nestlé Waters North America, Marla led EHS efforts for the largest bottled water company in the United States, achieving an 11% reduction in incidents and securing $17.4 million in funding to address safety risks.

    Over her thirteen years at Alcoa, Inc., some of Marla’s accomplishments include implementing Touch Time Reduction KPIs in seven global sites, resulting in a 75% reduction in Lost Workdays, a 34% decrease in Days Away, Restricted, or Transferred incidents in 2013, and a 6% dip in the Total Recordable Rate, further improving to 3% in 2014. Additionally, she achieved a 56% reduction in landfill waste in 2013 and a 50% decrease in water use during the same year, resulting in $1.5 million in cost savings.

    Marla holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Energy Management and Systems Technology from Purdue University, coupled with a Master's degree in Organizational Behavior from Brigham Young University’s Marriott School of Management. Her academic background complements her career, which serves as a testament to her leadership, unwavering commitment to safety, and her adeptness at spearheading operational excellence and environmental sustainability. Marla also served in the United States Air Force and as a missionary in Venezuela.

Rima is passionate about mental health, occupational safety, and sustainability. She was one of the first engineers at a fintech, Decacorn, the largest IPO of 2024 on Nasdaq.
