Join us Tuesday, September 12th for a tour of John Deere's Tractor Cab Assembly Operations Plant, Hansen's Dairy Farm, and Cedar Ridge Distillery! It'll be a full day of education and fun with the bus leaving Mason City at 6:15 am.
We will start at the John Deere Plant and then head over to Hansen's Dairy Farm for a trolley ride and ice cream, and end the day at the Cedar Ridge Distillery learning about the first licensed distillery in Iowa since Prohibition. We'll arrive back in Mason City at 6:30 pm exhausted but full of knowledge! Seats are limited so register now!
The John Deere's Tractor Cab Assembly Operations Plant is home to the final assembly of 7, 8 and 9 Series tractors. At the Hansen's Diary we will tour the farm to learn about dairy farming and processing while enjoying a trolley ride and ice cream. Our last stop of the day will be Cedar Ridge Distillery where we will see the behind-the-scenes tour of their entire process, from grain to glass, where nature is their ultimate guide. We'll learn the history of where they started and see how far they have come.
The cost of tickets for Ag Ventures Alliance members is $20/person and for Non-Member is $30/person. The bus fee, admission fees, and lunch are paid for in your ticket price. When registering you can choose to hop on the bus at Mason City, Floyd, or Waterloo and we will drop you back off there as we head back home. Deadline to register is Sunday, September 10th by 10:00 pm.
