A note from Russ Smith

We've known the Torres family for many years. One of the top winemakers in Spain, they're a growing presence in Chile. I first met Marimar in California along with her father, Miguel, in the 1970s. His goal was to establish a wine presence in the United States. Marimar took the challenge and planted first Chardonnay and Pinot Noir vines in 1982. Today Torres wines are considered the most admired brands in the world. 

 

Marimar and her daughter, Christina will review their wine growing methods, while showing us how to prepare traditional Spanish vegetable-based entrees and dessert specialties.
