Chicago Volunteer Opportunity: NABCRMP Dream Bedroom Makeover for Taylor

The NABCRMP Community Service Committee is excited to announce our collaboration with Special Spaces for an upcoming dream bedroom makeover for a deserving child, and we need your help to make it a reality!

About Special Spaces: Special Spaces creates dream bedrooms for dependent children ages 2-19 with cancer who are within one year of treatment. Their focus is exclusively on bedrooms—places where children sleep, rest, play, and thrive. They transform existing bedrooms into personalized spaces that only the children can dream or imagine. Their high-touch, high-impact approach ensures both the quantity and quality of each child's experience.

Volunteer Activities: NABCRMP is seeking approximately 7 volunteers to assist with creating a dream bedroom makeover for a 9-year-old girl named Taylor. Tasks will include painting, hanging wallpaper, assembling furniture, and setting up Taylor's new space. Volunteers will have the rewarding experience of witnessing Taylor's reaction as she sees her dream bedroom for the first time.
