Event Details
This course provides students with an overview of basic operation of the Laguna CNC router. Students are expected to have an understanding of Computer Aided Design (CAD), especially within Fusion 360. The training will begin with Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAM) within Fusion 360. Students will be guided through the processes programming the manufacturing process in CAM followed by step-by-step instruction for safe operation of the CNC router.
There will be a video presentation covering foundational concepts and history related to CNC technology, that students are required to watch prior to the first session. It will be sent with your registration confirmation. You'll need to be familiar with its content during a discussion at the first in-person session.

Please note: this training has the prerequisite of the Wood Shop Training and therefore attendees will need to be approved by Generator to ensure they've previously taken the required training.
