Cogmed Working Memory Training® is a computer-based program for learning and attention problems related to working memory deficits.

The program consists of 25 sessions conducted over 5 weeks, with each session taking 45 - 60 minutes. After the initial face to face consultation, Cogmed can be accessed from home or anywhere else with an internet-enabled computer, so it can fit easily into your child's schedule. However, please note that there will be 3 group facilitated sessions that will be therapist guided. These sessions will be held at KIDZ Occupational Therapy Consultants Pte Ltd, located at 354 Alexandra Road #01-04 Alexis Singapore 159948. However, for those who cannot make it physically, attend via zoom. You can book your preferred slots based on first come first serve basis during the program. Please note that the first session will be held on 1 Jun from 6-7pm (held at venue) or 30th May 1-2pm (via Zoom for those who cannot attend in person).

After using Cogmed, students will see improvement in the executive functions and are often better able to do the following:

• Sit calmly and concentrate on tasks such as homework and reading,
• Improve overall academic performance,
• Interact more frequently with peers and family members,
• Participate productively in enrichment activities such as sports, music lessons, dance, martial arts, and gymnastics,
• Use memory recall skills,
• Follow multi-step directions,
• Communicate more effectively, both verbally and in writing,
• Feel and express greater self-confidence,
• Display better ability to exhibit impulse control.
