Brief Description
The most common role of banks in an economy is to act as an efficient financial
intermediary between fund providers and users. Credit therefore plays an integral
role in an effective banking industry. Prudent credit analysis and risk management
is not only a minimum regulatory expectation from banks and lending institutions,
but also is an essential enabler to achieving long-term corporate and economic
objectives, while also aiding in safeguarding fiduciary funds such as deposits.
This course aims to equip participants with the foundational aspects of credit,
allowing them to compare and contrast corporate and consumer credit
management, while prioritizing the key areas of importance when it comes to
analyzing and managing credit
