Arif has spent two years at Luno, first as the Community & Events Lead and has since taken up the role of Business Development & Liquidity Lead. In those two-years, he and the team has organically developed Luno's local community from three figures in members to a whopping five figures and counting. He and the team have also grown the local liquidity to capture over 80% of the regulated market share since being regulated in 2019. In addition, he has had the opportunity to be part of education initiatives with Maybank, Maxis, SME Bank and Universiti Utara Malaysia.


Arif has led major projects including: the Malaysia Relaunch event, the highly-successful VIP Engagement programme and a Trader Reactivation programme. Beyond his normal work scope, he has built strong relationships with the Royal Malaysian Police and several government bodies, and even planned, shot & starred in educational videos with the Securities Commission of Malaysia. Outside his professional life, his interests include financial literacy and basketball.
