Drug & Alcohol Awareness

This training provides an overview of the most popular types of drugs and paraphernalia, their methods of use, and their effects on the human body. New trends and methods of readily available intoxicants.

As a result of this session, participants will be able to:

· Recognize the dangers associated with the abuse of narcotics, prescription drugs, synthetic/ designer drugs and alcohol.

· Identify Opiates-Marijuana, PCP, Cocaine, Amphetamines, Meth Amphetamines, Ecstasy, Alcohol, along with the paraphernalia used to introduce these substances into the human body.

· Describe the processing method for preparing controlled substances for human ingestion
