Dr Marcella Lucas is the CEO of LeadWomen, a Malaysian grown enterprise which focuses on getting more women onto Board of Directors and into C-suite positions. Through her work at LeadWomen, Dr Marcella is re-innovating how to position women’s leadership as a core strategic imperative for good, sustainable business performance, and has developed from a training provider to a One-Stop-Solution for high calibre candidates looking for board opportunities and for boards looking for the right talent to meet their business needs. Dr Marcella was recruited to Malaysia in 2014 to deliver on strategic initiatives to support the National Transformation efforts of the Malaysian government. An innovation strategist, she is trained and certified as a Blue Ocean Strategy practitioner. Dr Marcella obtained her PhD in Neuroscience from Dartmouth College, USA and BSc Biochemistry from the University of Bath, UK and is originally from the Netherlands.

Nizwani is a natural, born leader who is skilled in strategic planning and business development. She is highly competitive and will love the chance to debate, nurture and drive a business towards positive growth and brand salience. 

Her foundation in Strategic Planning and Account Management was her springboard to excelling in the regional and global accounts she’s led in her career. During her tenure in previous international agencies, Nizwani worked on FMCG, automotive, telco, hospitality and tourism brands.

Nizwani joined Ogilvy in 2011 as Business Lead on iconic and large telco, finance and FMCG brands. She has risen up the ranks to be Co-Chief Executive of Ogilvy Malaysia, making her one of the youngest Chief Executives in Malaysian advertising. 

Nizwani ensures her mini-me, Chloe has a role model she can look up to; to show her that making a positive impact to humanity through our brand of work is both meaningful and fun at the same time. Nizwani is an advocate of diversity and inclusiveness, and believes in helping women thrive as leaders in the workplace.

Ms Ng Yeen Seen is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of the Centre for Research, Advisory and Technology ( CREATE). She was named a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum in 2016.

Yeen Seen is a Council Member of the Entrepreneurial Development Council of the Ministry of Education of Malaysia. She sits on the board of the Global Institute of Women Empowerment (GIWE) and served as an Advisory Council Member at the Women Institute of Malaysia (WIM) and Deputy

President of the Society of Ceritified Risk Professionals (SCRP). She was the UNESCO Steering Committee for Youth Leading Change for Peace in ASEAN.

Yeen Seen is the Founder of #OpsHarapan, a grassroots movement when the worst flood hit the East-Coast of Peninsular Malaysia in 2014. Today, the movement continues their work in nation building by bringing hopes and opportunities to local communities.

An Accounting graduate of Cardiff University, UK; she holds a postgraduate degree in Education Policy from Warwick University, UK.

Yan is the CEO of iOli Communications Sdn Bhd, a boutique PR agency based in Kuala Lumpur, founded in 2016 from Yan’s aspiration to accelerate the advancement of women in the workplace. Yan’s forte is in strategic communications, and she has experience in servicing clients from a variety of industries ranging from FMCG and F&B, to telecommunications and healthcare, by developing successful campaigns and effective publicity solutions. A firm believer in women empowerment, Yan continues her effort in accelerating women advancement by contributing her time and skills to women NGOs such as Women Entrepreneur Network Association (WENA), Girls in Tech Malaysia & Great Women Malaysia. In addition, she is the co-founder female empowerment media platforms HerChannel and FEMxTalk. Besides iOli Communications, today she is also the CEO of iOli Malaysia Sdn Bhd (nursing-friendly corporate apparel) and event management company SoyaCincau Sdn Bhd.

Shareena Mohd Sheriff is a Programme Manager for Advocacy, Legal Services and Research in Sisters In Islam, an NGO advancing the rights of Muslim women within the framework of Islam, human rights, constitutional guarantees and grounded by lived realities. Shareena is involved in work relating to injustices experienced by women as a result of biased laws, policies and institutional structures. She has participated in work related to Islamic Family Law reform as well as other legislation such as the Domestic Violence Act, the Child Act, and the proposed RUU355 and child marriage. Her team operates Telenisa, a helpline provided free of charge for Muslims requiring legal advice under Islamic Family Laws. Shareena is a lawyer by training with over 20 years of experience. Her career focus has centred on policy and law reform as well as strategic planning. Her previous position was with a statutory body – Securities Commission, a regulatory authority over the capital markets.
