Discussing capacity for a patient living with dementia can be a difficult conversation. During this presentation Chris will cover the legal and financial considerations when having this discussion with a person living with dementia and their care partners. She will discuss the domains that are included in a capacity assessment for a person living with dementia, and identify the ethical issues related participation in dementia research. She will complete this webinar with how to recognize signs of elder abuse.


For $10.001.0 ETHICS CE Credit will be awarded to Illinois nurses, social workers, professional counselors, and nursing home administrators.
