Mayor of Irondale at City of Irondale
Mayor James D. Stewart, Jr. is Irondale's first African-American mayor who has built a 20-year record of service in Irondale, serving on the Commercial Development Authority for six years, on the city council for six years from 2007-12 and has been the city clerk since 2012. He was president of the Exchange Club, president of the Rotary Club, and served in 2020 as the president of the Chamber of Commerce.
