German Business Association (GBA)

GBA – the GERMAN BUSINESS ASSOCIATION – has been one of the first foreign business associations in Vietnam, starting its activities already back in 1995. For 30 years, GBA has been the focal point of German business life, culture, and values in Vietnam. It has helped German businesses in developing their operations, has advised on a wide range of topics, and created opportunities for business and social exchange across Vietnam.

Today, GBA has over 370 members, a reflection of the opportunities and dynamics of the Vietnamese market. It is one of the largest foreign business associations in Vietnam and a highly respected counterpart in the local community. In addition, GBA was one of the founding members of EuroCham Vietnam, a partnership that represents the pan-European activities and interests in Vietnam. A GBA membership automatically goes along with EuroCham membership and strengthens our ties with the other European business communities.

The global economy is gradually shifting towards sustainable practices, but the transition is often fraught with challenges and uncertainties. Despite the hurdles, experts see promising signs of growth and opportunity in the Green Circular Economy (GCE) for 2024. Businesses need to navigate this landscape carefully to maximize benefits and mitigate risks.

Join us at the newly launched GBA Business Luncheon 'Profiting from the Green Circular Economy' to gain comprehensive insights into leveraging the GCE for business success. This event will provide valuable perspectives on how companies can thrive sustainably and profitably in an evolving economic environment. We are also privileged to welcome Mr. Simon Kreye, Deputy Head of the German Embassy in Hanoi, who will discuss the GCE's role in sustainable growth and its impact on global collaboration.

We are also excited to highlight the upcoming Green Economy Forum & Exhibition (GEFE) 2024, a major event focused on promoting sustainable development and green practices across various industries. GEFE 2024 will offer an excellent platform for businesses to explore innovative solutions, network with industry pioneers, and gain deeper insights into the latest trends and technologies in the GCE. By attending this forum, participants will enhance the knowledge gained at our luncheon and provide further opportunities to implement sustainable strategies in their business operations.
