Concussion, also known as mild traumatic brain injuries (mTBI), results from any impact to the body not just to the head. Falls and whiplash are more common causes than sports.
This workshop is aimed at understanding the changes to cognitive, emotional, sleep and physical function that can occur following any concussion and may manifest acutely or only years later.
Clinical presentations of altered balance, cervicogenic headaches, dysautonomia, pain, neuroinflammation and musculoskeletal imbalances will be discussed.
