HDN is delighted to continue our new series of free, in-person events exclusively for members โ Study Visits: Learning from Outside the Sector. Having kicked off in London at the start of October with a fantastic event at Adecco's London office, we are thrilled to offer this same session to those further North, at their Manchester office.
We know that there has of course been an increased focus on much-needed equality, diversity and inclusion initiatives in the housing sector over the last three years. In the interests of maintaining momentum, continuously improving our practices and inspiring innovative approaches to this work, we wanted to provide an opportunity for members to learn from organisations outside of the housing sector.
The importance of this cannot be understated โ just as diversity within organisations ensures diversity of thoughts and ideas, diversity when it comes to sources of learning and sharing best practice can help ensure that your organisation's outlook is broad, and your initiatives stay fresh and relevant.
Join us on Monday 20th November, where The Adecco Group will host us at their Manchester office for a packed agenda. Along with plenty of opportunity for networking and informal discussion about best practice or challenges, Camila Carvalho, EDI Consultant for the organisation, Ruth Young, Sector Development Lead for the Public Sector, and Helen Tomlinson, Head of Talent & Inclusion, will take you through:
The day will run from 11am to 3pm and include lunch.
There are only 12 places for the event which will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. If you would like to attend, please request a place via the event registration link and we will be in touch.
