Overview
Every year, the month of April is observed as Head and Neck Cancer Awareness Month. Head and neck cancer (HNC) is the seventh most common cancer globally, accounting for more than 660,000 new cases and 325,000 deaths annually. Overall, 57.5% of global head and neck cancers occur in Asia especially in India.
By spreading awareness and bringing together the healthcare fraternity we can together contribute in changing this course. Contributing to the global campaigns, Voice of Healthcare ( a not for profit ,healthcare industry connect platform) will be organising virtual panel discussions to conduct an effective & engaging public awareness campaign to mark April as Head and Neck Cancer Awareness Month.
The overarching idea is to bring together the medical experts, health specialists and subject matter experts โ & seek their wisdom on how we can overall change the current scenario by focusing on the early detection, treatment and management of head and neck cancers.
