In this training course, participants will delve into current IT trends, emerging risks, especially within Application and/or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) environments, and updated control frameworks and standards. The course will cover essential concepts of information technology necessary for addressing audit concerns within participants' IT environments.
Led by experienced professionals with extensive global IT auditing expertise, the course utilizes interactive methods such as facilitated and group discussions, along with hands-on exercises. Participants are encouraged to have access to a laptop to maximize engagement and learning outcomes.
Upon completion of the course, eligible participants will:

Gain a comprehensive understanding of information technology concepts essential for addressing audit concerns within an organization's IT infrastructure, with a focus on web-based applications and systems.
Acquire familiarity with relevant frameworks and standards, such as ISACA IS audit standards and The Institute of Internal Auditing (IIA) standards, particularly in the context of financial and application auditing in automated environments, including cloud-based systems.
Learn the auditing process for information systems, emphasizing IT general controls (ITGC), Application Auditing (including ERP auditing), development of audit programs, and utilization of Data Analysis techniques for audit purposes, including Computer-aided audit techniques (CAATs).
