Introduction of Kongalend Microfinance institution to N-BiG members

Kongalend is a development-oriented microfinance institution. Kongalend financial Services (Pty) Ltd. (Kongalend), is a Namibian pioneer development microfinance institution regulated by the Namibia Financial Institutions Supervisory Authority (NAMFISA), (Ref. No. 25/11/356), under the Microlending Act, 2018 (Act No.7 of 2018). Kongalend provides a range of development-oriented credit products designed to meet the financial needs of low-income micro entrepreneurs to unlock their economic potential, generate income and create jobs for their fellow citizens who cannot be absorbed into the formal economy.

Kongaland Services

Kongalend offers short-term loans designed to meet working capital needs (ranging between N$ 35 000 to N$ 350 000) and Asset-backed finance (from N$400 000 to N$ 2 million), to invest in machinery and equipment to SMEs and Small scale farmers wishing to optimise their production processes and increase their profitability, while providing sustainable employment to women and the youth in their communities.
