The Patient-Centered Economic Impacts (PCEI) interactive workshop series is open to those interested in making health research more patient-centered, particularly patients, caregivers, researchers, payers, industry experts, research sponsors, and other stakeholders.


Workshop Details

This workshop will focus on the use of patient journey maps as a tool to integrate Patient-Centered Economic Impacts (PCEI) into research. Participants will:

  • Identify respectful and empowering ways to ask about and include economic impacts when mapping patient journeys.
  • Explore elements of the PCEI framework most important to include in patient journey maps.
  • Discover how patient journey maps can inform research design, interpretation, and limitations.


Facilitated by Center staff with presentations from Elisabeth M. Oehrlein, PhD, MS, Founder & CEO, Applied Patient Experience, LLC and Jae Samuel, patient advocate.


Participation Details

Please register to indicate your interest in participating. Participation will be limited to 50 individuals and reviewed to ensure all stakeholder groups are represented. If selected to participate, you will receive a registration approval notification as well as additional information closer to the session date. Otherwise, you will be added to a wait list and notified as openings become available.


Registration is open until June 26, selection decisions will be communicated on June 28.
