Attractions

Copenhagen Walking Tour

Enjoy a walking tour that will take us past some of the greatest locations in central Copenhagen. We will start your walking tour from the center of Copenhagen, close to the monumental entrance to the famous amusement park Tivoli Garden from 1843. We will go onto the expansive City Hall Square and continue along Strøget – the longest pedestrian shopping area in Europe, lined with historic old buildings, renowned brand name stores and street entertainers. We will see the Church of Our Lady Cathedral, the Round Tower, Copenhagen's oldest neighborhood with narrow streets and crooked houses. The enchanting old city center is easily navigated on foot, and we will Continue past the third-oldest church in Copenhagen, the Saint Nikolaj Church. Then, we will go onto the King's New Square and end our tour in the lively Nyhavn area – the colorful canal district from the 1600s, lined with restaurants and cafés in the historic houses.

Hidden Gems Boat Tour

Historic Copenhagen is partially built on islands and cries, which are crossed by many waterways and canals. These allow easy access by sea to many Copenhagen sights and offer a relaxed and scenic way of discovering the city—a particularly atmospheric way to experience this is to do a sunset canal cruise.

Explore the wonderful city of Copenhagen by cruising through the canals with a cold drink in your hand. Your captain will tell you memorable stories as he guides you through the historic center of Copenhagen. Enjoy a relaxing and atmospheric canal cruise through Copenhagen's meandering waterways and canals.

Christiansborg Palace

On the island of Slotsholmen in the middle of Copenhagen, you will find Christiansborg Palace, the only building in the world to be the seat of all three supreme powers of a nation: the executive, the legislative, and the judicial. A castle or palace has stood in this spot since the earliest days of Danish history when Bishop Absalon founded Copenhagen. The present-day Christiansborg palace is the third royal palace to bear this name – the first two having burnt to the ground in accidental fires – and was built from 1907 – 1927 in the Neo-baroque style. At the time of the second palace fire, Denmark had already evolved from monarchy to democracy, and so the third palace was constructed mainly as a government building, although the King retained a large section of the palace for representational purposes. It is these Royal Reception Rooms that are open to sightseeing groups. The Danish Queen still uses the rooms when entertaining VIP visitors and heads of foreign states.

Seaplane Experience

It's a rare delight to experience the birds-eye view of a new city from the air. On this sightseeing trip, we climb to approximately 500m' just high enough so you can see the city's streets' canals' ships' coastline and iconic buildings.

Neuro-gastronomy Workshop

Why are we stimulated by something crunchy? Why do we automatically bypass foods of certain colors while other colors entice us? And why do we talk so much about taste when our sense of smell provides us with a thousand times as many impulses?

This workshop will give you the answers as it takes you on a journey into the brain. It adopts an original and playful approach to gastronomy and how we perceive food. You'll be entertained, enlightened, and inspired as you experience food through small experiments and scientific insights that trick your brain with this unique gastronomic workshop.

The Royal Shooting Club - Sølyst

The Royal Shooting Club is a country house in Klampenborg and one of Denmark's most exciting historical buildings. The high-ceilinged classical living rooms in the palace, the royal shooting range, and the charming park make up the beautiful setting for weddings, parties, meetings, and events. With more than 500 years of history and more than 400 painted shields in the main house, there is a long history and tradition behind Sølyst. In 2010, the H.M. Queen Margrethe Slice Museum, located at Sølyst, houses more than 1,600 painted slides. The painted shields have, throughout the ages, been donated by admission to the Royal Copenhagen Shooting Company and Danish Brotherhood. The whole house is newly renovated with respect to heritage and traditions.

Karen Blixen Museum

The Karen Blixen Museum, located in Rungstedlund, Denmark, is a tribute to the renowned Danish author Karen Blixen, also known as Isak Dinesen. The museum is housed in Blixen's former home, where visitors experience an intimate and close encounter with her life and work. The museum aims to provide an in-depth insight into Karen Blixen's life and legacy, serving as a place where both admirers of her literary works and curious visitors can immerse themselves in her fascinating world.

Behind the Scenes of the Royal Opera House

Meet with one of the Royal Theater's in-house guides and explore this massive complex. The Opera House covers 134,500 sq. ft., with over 14 floors and two stages. Stroll through the beautiful public areas and soak in the elegant and visually exciting atmosphere. We will visit both stages, explore the massive backstage area of the Grand Stage, and marvel at the intricate system of lifts and cranes that transform entire stage scapes in minutes.

Tivoli Gardens

Tivoli Garden is a famous amusement park and pleasure garden in Copenhagen. The park opened on August 15, 1843, making it one of the oldest amusement parks to survive intact to the present day. In 1841, Tivoli's founder, Georg Carstensen, obtained a five-year charter to create Tivoli by telling King Christian VIII that "when the people are amusing themselves, they do not think about politics."

The monarch granted Carstensen use of roughly 15 acres of the fortified slopes outside the West Gate, but under the proviso that the entire facility could be removed swiftly in case of an enemy siege. Tivoli became an immediate success and kept its location and popularity as the growing city enveloped it. Today, the garden is a famous oasis of fun and relaxation in the heart of Copenhagen.
