I am Igho Fayomi, a Ph.D. holder in Estate Management and specialising in Property & Facility Management. Also, a staff of Lead City University which is a privately owned institution.
I have 6years of experience in lecturing and 11 years of experience in research. Have grown academically to the position of lecturer 1 in Lead City University.
I am also the present Head, of the Department of Estate Management, in the institution.
With a career spanning across two decades, I have become a visionary leader who is particularly focused on Property Development, Facilities Management, and a well-versed Business Consultant (Public Relations & Human Capital), Propelled by my Unique Value Proposition (UVP) which sits in my ability to understand. demand and supply of any product or service, then formulate solutions that effectively meet that demand. Results of my recent personality assessments defined me as a Coach, a Giver and depending on the setting.
Due to my Coach nature, I have this rare ability to get along with a wide variety of individuals. This comes from both my sincere interest in people and from my inherent patience when working with others. This allows me to be able to bring various individuals together who might not otherwise cooperate. I have an empathetic listening style. I am friendly, generous, and self-sacrificing. At my best I become deeply unselfish, humble, and altruistic giving unconditional love to myself and others. Highly responsive, excitable, and enthusiastic about sensation and experience that help individuals or business achieve their goals.
I began my career as the Secretary to a HR Manager which allowed me to get an understanding of administration and its processes. This was followed by a role as a Personal Assistant which meant I had to now implement these administrative processes I had been learning with the goal of making the life of my boss easier. I now understood the fundamentals of what moved people in a business, which is what I did in my following role as a Labor Relations Assistant. I did this for 2 years before moving on to my role as a Senior HR Consultant which spoke to my understanding of policy within an organization and how to get alignment between policy and people. The time I spent with my two Cell C franchise stores taught me the fundamentals of running a business and being successful at it. Coupled with my experience and understanding of people I can drive the operations of a business while understanding what is needed for the business to be a Success.
