Transitions sometimes create anxiety, fear and stress because the future appears uncertain and the probability of failure looms like a dark, ugly cloud. On the contrary, transitions can and should stir up joyful expectations of new, exciting, gratifying and successful phases of our lives. This is achievable with mindful preparation whilst having the drive/motivation to stay on course through the inevitable storms.

After 21 years of working for an international oil company, Nnoli Akpedeye decided to take early retirement and start her own businesses. It was a bold step at a time in her career when she had achieved significant mileage and still a very high potential for growth in the company. It was an intentional decision that has taken her through an exciting journey of highs, lows, successes, failures and peaceful contentment. In this masterclass she will share her personal story, lessons learnt and tips for staying the course by riding the storms.

At the end of the masterclass, members who are transitioning from employee to employer and those just starting out as entrepreneurs will be enlightened about the 'fine print' steps to take when starting up a business; and be encouraged/motivated to keep moving towards their goals.
