Hon. Terry Paul Bottinelli retired from the Superior Court of New Jersey last year.
After spending more than 30 years in the Civil Arena, he decided to dedicate his entire judicial career to handling matrimonial cases. For nearly eleven years he was assigned to the Family Part of the Chancery Division, initially for a short term to Union County, then to Passaic County for three years and finally to Bergen County where he spent nearly eight years.

His judicial experience included hundreds of Dissolution trials and settlements, Non-Dissolution cases, Juvenile matters, Domestic Violence and Contempt trials and Child Support Enforcement actions.

He is a former President of the New Jersey Council of Juvenile and Family Court Judges and has been a frequent lecturer at seminars presented by ICLE, New Jersey State Bar Association, Bergen County Bar Association, New Jersey Association for Justice, Judicial College as well Rutgers and Seton Hall Law Schools.

Prior to ascending to the Superior Court, he served as a Municipal Court Judge for more than 18 years and was the President of the Bergen County Municipal Judge’s Association.

A former President of the Bergen County Bar Association and a member of the Board of Governors for the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, he was a partner at Archer Law (formerly Herten Burstein, Hackensack) and was Certified by the Supreme Court as a Civil Trial Attorney. He was admitted to multiple
jurisdictions around the United States in connection with Class Action Tobacco litigation as well as Consumer Fraud and commercial cases.

He is a partner at the DeCotiis Law Firm in Paramus, where he handles Matrimonial and Civil Mediations and Arbitrations.

Felicia Farber is a full-time independent arbitrator, mediator, workplace investigator and attorney based in NJ/NY and providing online dispute resolution services nationally. With 28+ years of experience, she resolves commercial, civil & family disputes through mediation, arbitration and litigation. For the past 18+ years her practice has been primarily focused on ADR, specializing in employment, construction, complex business/commercial, torts, contracts, homeowners associations, environmental insurance, divorce, foreclosure, products liability, and will contest matters.
 
Ms. Farber serves as an Arbitrator for the AAA, FINRA, CPR and New Jersey Courts, and is a certified Federal Court Mediator, NJ Court-Approved Civil Mediator and Mentor, and Mediator for the AAA. She has extensive experience mediating for New Jersey
State Courts, the New Jersey Office of Dispute Settlement (NJODS) and the US EEOC. She is also an Early Childhood Intervention Mediator, a Matrimonial Early Settlement Panelist, and a Military Ombudsman for the Employer Support of the Guard & Reserve. In total, she has conducted over 3000 mediations, many involving 7 and 8 figures.
 
Ms. Farber was awarded the 2022 Lewis Pepperman Distinguished Service Award and 2019 James B. Bosky ADR Practitioner of the Year Award by the New Jersey State Bar Association (NJSBA) and is a member of the National Academy of Distinguished
Neutrals. She serves on the NJ Supreme Court Committee on Complementary Dispute Resolution & Arbitration Advisory Committee, the Advisory Committee on Mediator
Standards, and the Eastern District of NY ADR Advisory Council. She also serves on the NJSBA Executive Committee of the Labor & Employment Section and is Past Chair of the Dispute Resolution Section and past Trustee of the Women in the Profession
Section. In addition, she is the NJ Regional Chair for ABA Women In Dispute Resolution, a member of the ADR and Construction Law Sections of Bergen County Bar Assoc. & past Vice President of the New Jersey Association of Professional Mediators.

As a frequent writer and speaker in NJ and NY she regularly conducts presentations for state and county bar associations, Inns of Courts, law schools, and professional organizations, including the ABA. She has developed and taught Advanced Civil Mediation courses for NJODS, and Negotiation & Conflict Resolution and Mock Trial classes at William Paterson University. She also serves on the Editorial Advisory Board for the NJ State Bar Foundation publication The Legal Eagle and is Chair of NJ City University IDR Steering Committee for Thought Leadership and Program Experiences.

Ms. Farber received her B.S. in Electrical/Computer Engineering from Tufts University and her J.D. from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. She is a certified pet therapy handler, watercolor artist, and author.

The Hon. Walter F. Skrod retired from the Superior Court of New Jersey, Bergen County vicinage, in 2022.

Before his appointment to the bench, he had devoted almost his entire legal career to the civil litigation/personal injury field, both as a trial attorney and, at different times, as a managing attorney for the Liberty Mutual and the GEICO staff legal offices.
His judicial experience included a short stay in the Family Division, for which he presided over domestic violence and child support trials, and a lengthy stay in the Civil Division, for which he conducted a range of civil jury trials, including several major personal injury cases involving commercial establishments and a consumer product.

His judicial career included a specialty in the settlement of major cases, inclusive of those involving insurance disputes, and personal injury/death resulting from aircraft crashes, malpractice, commercial establishment accidents, construction site accidents, motor vehicle accidents, and Tort Claims Act liability.
Judge Skrod is on the PERC-approved list of grievance arbitrators.
He has lectured in the past for the Institute of Continuing Legal Education on the issue of defending damages in personal injury cases.

Judge Skrod earned his J.D. from Rutgers - Newark (University) Law School, and his B.A. degree from the University of Notre Dame, from which he graduated cum laude. He is admitted to the New Jersey Bar, the Washington D.C. Bar, and the U.S. District Court for
the District of New Jersey. Judge Skrod is currently a member of the Bergen County Bar Association, the NJ State Bar
Association, and the New Jersey Association for Justice (formerly ATLA-NJ). Judge Skrod is in an “Of Counsel” position at the DeCotiis law firm in Paramus, New Jersey. Currently, he accepts mediation and arbitration referrals of civil disputes involving pending and
pre-litigation personal injury matters.
