If your school operates clock hour programs and is Title IV-eligible, the US Department of Education's new "100% Rule" (Eliminating the current 150% Rule) set to take effect on July 1, 2024, will most likely impact your school. MAACS would like to schedule a meeting of members and non-members who are interested in this issue. In order to encourage maximum participation of schools in this meeting, we are making it open and FREE to any institution regardless of membership or location.
We have several significant issues to discuss with schools including, but not limited to:
1) New guidance and interpretations of this guidance we have received from Senior Officials at the US Department of Education
2) Updates from Congress on the issue including a congressional letter requesting delay of implementation
3) Litigation against the new rule that we anticipate will be filed in the next few weeks
