Thailand's newly-amended Labour Protection Act, has come into effect since 3 May 2019 with substantial implications on business operation. The briefing by Baker McKenzie's Employment specialist, Nam-Ake Lekfuangfu (Profile​), will address some of the major changes under the new act, including:

• statutory severance pay;
• business leave;
• maternity leave;
• workplace relocation;
