NBCDI Creatives Gathering: Using Creativity to Shift Narratives
On October 17, 2024, at 6:30PM, at the ZuCot Gallery in Atlanta. NBCDI will showcase its impactful work in the narrative space, highlighting how we use stories and writing to communicate, shift public opinion, and influence behaviors, policies, and systems.
This special event will also offer a preview of a new initiative launching in 2025, celebrating creatives who honor the imagination and genius of Black children. As part of the evening, we will recognize the remarkable contributions of renowned creatives Kwame Alexander and Terri-Nichelle Bradley, who have used their creativity to shift narratives and elevate the endless possibilities of who Black children can be.
Attire: Business casual or cocktail attire—whichever suits your schedule, whether you're coming from work or dressing up for the evening.
