In 2023, the Malaysian Government launched two key initiatives, the National Energy Transition Roadmap (NETR) and the Hydrogen Economy and Technology Roadmap (HETR) to position Malaysia as a leader in green energy and support its goal of achieving Net Zero emissions by 2050. These roadmaps complement existing energy policies and are crucial in driving the nation's sustainable energy transition.
As we approach 2025 and in light of the recent Budget 2025 announcement, the private sector is keen to understand the progress of these roadmaps and explore opportunities for collaboration.
