Please join ITE Met Section for the return of the in-person October Dinner Meeting & Emerging Professionals Conference, this year at a new venue, Liberty Prime Steakhouse in Jersey City, NJ, since Arthur's in Hoboken is Closed. This year's event features three speakers, along with a happy hour and dinner reception.
Adam Allen will speak on Personal Branding at 4pm, followed by a 5pm happy hour. At 6pm, Parth Oza of NJDOT and Kenneth Katt of PANYNJ will speak on project delivery at the NJDOT and PANYNJ, over dinner. Please note that there will be no PDHs offered for this event.

Mr. Allen leads a team of engineers from across the country with diverse technical expertise in all aspects of traffic engineering, highway design, operations, roadside safety, and ITS services. His team’s mission is to deliver cutting-edge engineering solutions to provide safer and more efficient transportation systems for the communities they serve. With nearly 20 years of experience with both private and public sector clients, his personal specialty lies in all aspects of traffic signal design and operations, having successfully completed projects ranging from single traffic signal installations to large-scale signalization efforts consisting of over 90 intersections. On multiple occasions, Mr. Allen has been retained by New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT) to teach traffic signal training classes to their employees. He is also very committed to the Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE), where he has humbly served the Northeastern District President (2021), the Metropolitan Section of New York and New Jersey President (2013) and is also an alumnus (2014) and Chair Emeritus (2021) of LeadershipITE. Mr. Allen also has also received several awards during his career most notably the 2018 ITE International Young Member of the Year Award and the 2018 Ivor S. Wisepart ITE Met Section Transportation Engineer of the Year Award.

Parth Oza was appointed to the position of Acting Assistant Commissioner, Capital Program Management (CPM) on July 1, 2022. As a key member of the New Jersey Department of Transportation’s senior leadership team, he is charged with delivering an annual Capital Program of $600 Million plus in state and federal projects as well as overseeing a work force of more than 1,300 employees in six Divisions within CPM. He is responsible for leading an active Construction Program valued at $5 Billion with 250 plus active Highway and Bridge construction projects. He serves as a voting member on the AASHTO Highway Subcommittee, and as one of two Deputy State Transportation Engineers of the Department. Prior to his current appointment he was the Assistant Division Director of the Bureau of Operations Support and Engineering where he successfully delivered 50 plus construction projects valued at $300 Million plus annually. In 2012 Parth received a Bachelor of Science (BS), Civil Engineering degree from Rutgers University and a Master of Business and Science (MBS), Engineering Management from Rutgers University, Professional Science Master’s Program. in 2021. He is a registered Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of New Jersey.
