The Philippine Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (PH-EITI) is set to host the side events during the 2025 Open Government Partnership (OGP) Asia and the Pacific Regional Meeting.
This avenue provides a unique opportunity to engage with stakeholders from government, civil society, industry, and academia. It also serves as platform for in-depth discussions and collaborative exchanges aimed at advancing good governance in the extractive sector while addressing pressing issues like climate equity, transparency and sustainability.

DAY 1 "Bridging Data for Better Governance: Interoperability and Transparency in the Extractive Sector"
This session aims to empower stakeholders to link previously unrelated datasets to enhance transparency, mitigate risks such as corruption and conflicts of interest, and support data-driven policy and regulatory decisions.

This two-part panel focuses on transition mineral mining, to discuss efforts by government, civil society, and industry on aligning climate action with justice. Highlighting research from CSOs including CEED, and Bantay Kita, the panel aims to amplify community voices, promote transparent governance, and ensure no one is left behind.
