Brad Baumoel has 33 years of industry & leadership experience. Brad began his career at Accenture, after graduating from the State University of NY at Albany. In 1993, Brad joined JPMorgan Chase, where he’s held key “day job” roles in Global Finance, Asset & Wealth Management and Consumer & Community Banking. Brad came out as a gay man at work, 10 years into his professional career and has led many aspects of JPMorgan Chase’s LGBT+ agenda since then. Brad volunteered his time to manage several “gay jobs”, where he led components of the PRIDE Business Resource Group, the LGBT+ Executive Forum and the LGBT+ community for Global Technology. Externally, Brad helped launch and lead OPEN Finance, an external network of Financial Services LGBT+ leaders, to drive LGBT+ equity and inclusion, across the Finance industry. In 2021, Brad established and built-out JPMorgan Chase’s Office of LGBT+ Affairs, a first of its kind, where he’s now leading their unified, global strategy for the LGBT+ Community.
Personally, Brad, his husband and their German Shepherd, live in Brooklyn and New Paltz, NY. They love spending time with their families (in the US and Brazil), traveling, and scuba diving, whenever possible.
