Refresher Course: Environmental Science, Management and Policy

This 5-session training course is for those interested in refreshing their memory on topics in Environmental Science, Management and Policy.

The design of the course includes selected topics from the ESMP Chapter of the Hong Kong Institute of Environmental Professionals Limited (HKIQEP).

TOPICS:

1. Ecology and Biodiversity (28 July, 7-9pm)
2. Environmental Pollution, Industrial Ecology and Product Stewardship (30 July, 10am-12pm)
3. Environmental Public Policy and International Conventions (2 August, 7-9pm)
4. Environmental Impact, Site Assessment and Risk Assessment (4 August, 7-9pm)
5. Fundamentals of Corporate Sustainability and Reporting (6 August, 9am-11am)

• $350 per session

FOR FULL COURSE APPLICATION:

VENUE: Room 121, Hong Kong Productivity Council, Kowloon Tong

LANGUAGE: The course will be conducted in English. B/W notes will be distributed before each session.

CPD: 2 CPD hours will be awarded for each attended session

• One CPD Certificate will be issued by email after the last session is completed
• No certificate will be re-issued

4. Fees paid and places allocated are not transferable. No refund is provided unless the session/ course is cancelled by EMAHK.
5. Applicants shall have received at least two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine for access unless they have medical proof from a medical practitioner that they are unfit for COVID-19 vaccination. The arrangement shall be subject to the latest announcement from the Government of HKSAR.
6. All persons must use "Leavehomesafe安心出行" mobile APP for entering HKPC Building.
7. All persons must wear masks all the time in HKPC venues.
8. No food and drinks in all HKPC venues is allowed.
9. EMAHK reserves the right to cancel any sessions and to make variations to the schedules, contents and mode of delivery of the courses offered if there are unforeseeable circumstances. Upon the announcement from the Government of HKSAR, the course will be scheduled for online class via ZOOM. Applicants shall ensure his/ her device for the online ZOOM class.
10. For course cancellation, fees will be refunded by ordinary post.
