ABOUT NATIONAL RENEWABLE ENERGY EVENT

In alignment with its commitment to community engagement and sustainable development, TAREA has been to conducting the National Renewable Energy Days, providing a platform for stakeholders and the public to freely explore Renewable Energy Technologies and to elevate awareness within communities and public authorities about the productive uses and potentials of renewable energy.

TAREA in collaboration with Ministry of Energy is proud to host2024 National Renewable Energy Week (REW) Event taking place at the prestigious Julius Nyerere International Convention Centre (JNICC) in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania on June 6th – 7th. This event provides a dynamic platform for stakeholders to explore Renewable Energy Technologies showcased during the event. Spanning two days, the event encompasses a diverse range of dynamic activities, including exhibitions, panel discussions, workshops fostering public-private dialogue, and ample opportunities for business-to-business networking. This occasion serves as a nexus, uniting policymakers, both international and national industry experts, researchers, entrepreneurs, and the wider public.

Additionally, it focuses on the imperative transition to clean cooking, highlighting proven solutions for institutional and domestic cooking that contribute to the socio-economic development of the country.
