SASA Honours Bursary and Scholarship 2022/23, sponsored by SAS and ICCSSA

It is with great excitement that the SASA Education Committee hereby announces the 2022 SASA Honours Bursary and Scholarship Competition. This competition is open to all current 3rd year Statistics/Mathematical Statistics students who are planning to enrol for Statistics/Mathematical Statistics at honours level at a South African university in 2023. 


Two bursaries will be awarded based on academic merit and financial need:

  • A bursary sponsored by SAS to the value of R35 000.
  • A bursary sponsored by ICCSSA to the value of R13 000.


Important note:

  • for the application to be considered, the applicant must be a registered SASA member
  • SASA membership is free to all full-time students
