Huong is the co-founder at SSResource Media and her main role is to take charge of all commercial affairs for the SSResource Media team. Apart from being the person-in-charge of developing platform for SSRiceNews.com (website and related services to promote SSRiceNews.com networking events), she is also key to all marketing and sales initiatives for the group.

Mr. Patrick Renucci decided to move from France to the Philippines to be able to focus on the development and execution of Chen Yi Agventures’ sustainable rice platform in Leyte.
Mr. Renucci is an industrialist with over 20 years’ experience in operating and managing large factories in the printing industry in France. He has managed over 150 workers and operated large and complex machines (incomparable in complexity to rice mills, silos, and dryers which almost seem like child’s toys compared to the printing equipment). Mr. Renucci’s industrial printing operations produced over a hundred products per day, and this level of output has required strong expertise in manufacturing, equipment operation, supply chain/value chain management, distribution/logistics, and sales.
Mr. Renucci worked with Japanese engineers to build and develop the most technologically advanced rice processing complex in South East Asia in Alangalang, Leyte. Single-handedly, he customized the production process and the engineering to cater to local market conditions, producing rice suitable for the local palate. Mr. Renucci is not a trained engineer; however, his deep understanding of the rice industry from planting to rice production to distribution has enabled him to acquire invaluable expertise.
Mr. Renucci not only leads the operations of our rice processing complex; he has also trained local engineers from Leyte to operate our world class facilities and together, they produced Dalisay rice which has garnered the award of third best rice in the world in 2019, awarded by the World Rice Conference.
Mr. Renucci has also taken the vision of the project to another level by bringing in his experience and expertise in sustainable investing. Mr. Renucci has spearheaded the organization of the RENUCCI Partnership – integrating rice farmers as partners and key stakeholders of the business to improve their lives and uplift them from poverty.
He was responsible for introducing farm mechanization to Leyte, from the use of transplanters, direct seeding equipment, tractors, laser grader to level the land and combined harvesters. To date, the mechanization rate of Leyte is among the highest in the country.
Mr. Renucci has also developed and launched the Renucci Rice Farm Academy that has trained over 1,200 farmers in high-tech rice farming and production.
For his outstanding contribution to the rice industry of the Philippines, Mr. Renucci has just been granted Philippine nationality by Congress.
