This event presents a rare opportunity to meet Lord Kulveer in person, as he will only be in Belgrade for 24 hours. We are keen to introduce him to our BSCC members and friends.
Lord Kulveer Ranger is a distinguished member of the House of Lords and a renowned expert in technology, communications, and digital transformation. Over the past 25 years, he has held senior roles in politics, the public sector, and private industry, with a strong focus on leading innovative, technology-driven services.
Notably, Lord Ranger played a key role in the development of the London Oyster card and spent four years as Senior Adviser to the Mayor of London, Boris Johnson, where he led transport and environmental briefs, as well as pioneering initiatives such as Digital London and Tech City. He was also instrumental in preparations for the 2012 Olympics and advocacy for major projects like Crossrail and the Cycle Hire Scheme.
Most recently, Lord Ranger served as a senior executive at Atos, a global leader in digital transformation, where he led corporate communications and strategy across Northern Europe, APAC, and India. He has also been actively involved in numerous boards, including Transport for London, Bristol 2015 European Green Capital, and techUK, and currently serves on the West Midlands Digital Advisory Board.
In addition, Lord Ranger is a Co-chair of the All-Party Parliamentary Group for Digital Money and Digital Markets and Vice-chair of the All-Party Parliamentary Group for AI. As a passionate speaker, broadcaster, and Tottenham Hotspur FC fan, his influence extends across various industries, from technology to urban innovation.
