The pandemic brought out the plantito and plantita in all of us. While some go for ornamental plants, many opt for plants meant for food. In an urban setting like Metro Manila, vegetable gardens require a lot of garden space, and unfortunately, land space is scarce. We rely on small pots and put these on our balcony, hoping that one day we can harvest something substantial that we can add to our salads and dishes. Fret not in partnership with Urban Greens, learn the science and the art behind hydroponics farming and how we can grow and enjoy veggies within the confines of your home.
In this workshop, you will receive your first growing kit that includes the seeds, the potting materials, and the nutrients that would help your veggies flourish. After the workshop, there will be a pop-up dinner of vegan dishes prepared in a way that would open your palates to the flavors of veggies grown within the premises of Urban Greens Farm.
