Dr. Paul K. Jambunathan is a senior lecturer in Monash University, Malaysia and a Consultant Clinical Psychologist in Pantai Medical Centre, Kuala Lumpur.
With over 35 years of experience in applied psychology in the UK, Australia and Malaysia, his skills cover a wide range of issues which include familial problems, parenting, interpersonal effectiveness, personal development and performance enhancement.
Locally, Dr. Paul has his own weekly radio programme on counseling and mental health with Astro's Lite-Breakfast (FM 105.7), and has served as a member of the National Board of Directors for the Ministry of Women, Family and Community Development. He is an advisor to the National Diabetes Institute and is a member of the Board of Trustees for Cancerlink Malaysia, as well as an advisor to the National Association of Early Childhood Care and Education Malaysia (NAECCEM). Dr. Paul has also served as a member of the Sexual Health Advisory Committee of Malaysia.
Dr. Paul is also a staunch proponent of Emotional Intelligence and Positive Psychology and is actively advancing this practice in private and professional settings, and is well known for his customized workshops that involve practical and creative presentation of issues in the education and training of these very fundamental psychological principles.
