LYNNE D. FELDMAN, ESQ., has retired from her litigation practice but continues legal research,
publishing, and teaching on the sovereign citizen threat. She graduated with Honors, cum laude in
political science from Tulane University, received an M.A. in Public Law and Government from
Columbia University’s Graduate Faculties, and a J. D. from Pace University with a concentration in
constitutional law. After passing the N.J. Bar in 1986, her first case was as a defense attorney in one
of New Jersey’s last death penalty cases. Her areas of practice included criminal, family, business,
and finally, special education law before ending her litigation practice in 2020 owing to COVID-19. A
published author, she was honored by the NJ State Legislature for her efforts in democracy
education while teaching law and government. In addition to other honors, she was a member of
the NJ Character Education Commission. She resides in Upper Saddle River, NJ.

ERICA L FIELDS, ESQ, attended the Rutgers College Honors Program, where she graduated magna
cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa. She obtained her JD from Seton Hall Law and her Masters in
Criminal Justice from Boston University. She was a lecturer, pre-law advisor and criminal justice
internship coordinator at Rutgers University from 2006 to 2011. She is active with the Bergen
County Bar Association, Model Civil Jury Charges Committee, Women Lawyers of Bergen County,
Office of Attorney Ethics, and the Justice Morris Pashman Inn of Court. In 2024 she was the attorney
coach for Northern Highlands, and helped her team reach the finals of the Vincent J. Apruzzese Mock
Trial competition. She is currently a Senior Trial Attorney with the Law Office of Eric H Bennett.
