This year marks the 20th anniversary of the Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree, a transformative milestone in nursing education. Since the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN) endorsed the DNP degree in 2004, over 73,000 nurses have earned this prestigious credential, becoming leaders in clinical practice, healthcare innovation, policy, and education.
