EMAHK has invited two speakers to share their experience and the challenges they have overcome in a webinar. After the sharing, we will launch our first ever open competition themed "Waste Challenge: Innovate to Eliminate"

    Business Development Director of Eco-Greenergy

    Peann Tam is the Business Development Director of Eco-Greenergy, a social enterprise focusing on coffee grounds upcycling, eco products premium and eco workshops/tours. Ms. Tam is from a psychology and computing background. She began her career as a human resources information systems analyst in a multinational logistics company. Her entrepreneur journey started in 2014. Under her leadership, Eco-Greenergy has won 18 eco and entrepreneurial related awards for its innovative eco solutions.

    Facility Development Manager, Organic Waste at Environmental Protection Department, HKSAR

    After retiring from the civil service in 2017, Kin-fai has been re-employed by the Environmental Protection Department as a facility development manager responsible for developing and managing new organic waste recycling facilities, including the O.Park, Y.Park, food waste pretreatment works, Biochar Centre; and more recently, for the development of new and improvement measures for operation of the EcoPark.

    Kin-fai joined the Environmental Protection Department in 1988. He was promoted to the rank of Assistant Director in 2008; and, became the head of the Environmental Compliance Division and then the Environmental Assessment Division until his retirement.
